We are thrilled that Sunset Magazine named Bandon number 1 on its list of Top 14 Unsung Beach Towns. We are truly honored! Not only was Bandon number one but 6 of the 14 are Oregon towns with Port Orford listed at number 14.

We are gearing up for an exciting summer season! Take a  look at a few of the exciting events happening in May:

Next month the Old Town Marketplace opens for the season on May 2nd  bringing you the best in organic and natural foods the south coast has to offer along with talented artisans. This opening weekend for the Old Town Marketplace is also the Bandon Good Earth Community Garden’s Annual Fundraiser. Live music, a plant sale, and gardening experts will be available to answer any questions you may have about gardening.

May 9th and 10th will be the 27th Annual America’s Wild Rivers Coast Wine and Music Festival. This is an event you don’t want to miss with great music, wine, and food overlooking the beautiful beaches. Not to worry if it rains, the courtyard is covered! Tall Ship Days sail into Coos Bay from May 1-12. The Lady Washington and the Hawaiian Chieftain will be docked at the port for tours, battle sails, and educational tours. Purchase tickets by visiting http://historicalseaport.org/ or by calling 800-200-5239
