Beach Loop Realty celebrates 10 years in Bandon – Article by Geneva Miller

Bandon, OR– Beach Loop Realty and Property Management celebrated its tenth year in business in 2016. It’s a noteworthy milestone for an independent brokerage. The company not only survived the economic recession– it’s grown.

The brokerage started the year with a morale-boosting report from the Regional Multiple Listing Service: Beach Loop Realty was the top selling real estate company for 2015 in Bandon, Oregon, with sales exceeding $11 million for property in the 97411 zip code area. The Beach Loop inventory of management properties is also growing. The company now manages more than 60 rental homes and several commercial properties.

Anniversary celebration

Beach Loop celebrated its 10-year anniversary with an open house, Bandon Chamber ribbon cutting, and prize giveaway in October. Success in real estate sales doesn’t happen without good professional relationships, noted owner and principal broker Gina Morelli. The open house drew clients, colleagues and fellow professionals with whom Morelli and her realtor team shared their thanks.

The celebration included a client appreciation giveaway. Residential tenants were entered into a prize drawing. And, ten households, (one for each year in business), were treated to $100 off November 2016 rent, paid by Beach Loop.

When he wanted a rental home in Bandon two years ago, Jake Sestero visited several local property management companies before choosing Beach Loop. He attended the open house and was one of the tenant prize winners. He enjoyed the camaraderie at the event and said it was fun to take part in the prize drawing and win a piece of it.

“They’re a really good, professional group,” he said.

Caring for clients

Morelli started learning early the skills she’d need for success in real estate and property management. Just after high school graduation in her hometown of Las Vegas, Nevada, she invited her father to brainstorm career ideas; they spotted a real estate course in the newspaper classifieds, and Morelli signed up.

Morelli worked for several real estate companies in Las Vegas, collaborating with experienced agents. She learned that attention to clients is the key to achieving her goal to make a difference in people’s lives.

“I had some clients who really needed me and for whom I was doing some good. I prided myself on being honest and caring about the outcome for my clients,” said Morelli.

She got acquainted with Bandon during visits with friends. She was drawn to the small town lifestyle, excited by the prospect of starting her own business. Morelli opened Beach Loop Realty in the summer of 2006. Misty Berry and Karen Sinko joined her realtor team that same year. Morelli later recruited Tonya Rosen as leasing agent and assistant. Beach Loop is presently represented by seven realtors.

For many of those considering relocation to Bandon, life on the Oregon coast is a dream, said Morelli. Respect for client information, including personal and family details, is a topic she and her staff visit often in team meetings.

“They’re all preparing for a new stage in their lives, and they’re relying on us to show them around and help them feel comfortable about their decision. You learn personal details about their lives, and it’s meaningful,” said Morelli.

“They’re very warm people, very honest and hard-working,” said Helena Rozbicka, adding, “The most important thing in life is problem-solving, and they solve problems.”

Rozbicka was one of the first Beach Loop property management clients. She lives in California and owns a residential rental and vacation home in Bandon. Rozbicka calls Oregon her “second citizenship,” thanks to the many friendships she’s developed in Bandon, including the staff at Beach Loop.

Beach Loop Realty is open Monday through Friday and weekends by appointment, located at 1010 First Street SE, in the Bandon Professional Center. Learn more about Morelli and her realtor team at
