Reedsport, Oregon sits along the lower Umpqua River—minutes from the ocean—and serves as a natural jumping-off point for the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area (the visitor center is right in town). And while the marina scene is next door in Winchester Bay at Salmon Harbor, it’s just a short drive for harborside walks, crab pots, and coastal sunsets before heading back to Reedsport’s quieter pace.
