Successful Neuter Clinic Helps 65 Cats — and Brings in Over $2,500 in Donations

On Saturday, June 28, 2025, Beach Loop Realty hosted a low-cost cat neuter clinic in partnership with FOCCAS (Friends of Coos County Animals), NW Spay & Neuter, and Gizmo’s Angels. Thanks to an incredible community effort, 65 cats were neutered in one day—a huge step toward reducing pet overpopulation in our area.

Adoptables, Donations & Community Impact

Alongside the clinic, visitors had the chance to meet several adoptable cats and one friendly chocolate lab puppy named Godiva. The response from the public was overwhelming:
🐾 Over $300 worth of food and supplies were donated
💵 $2,572 in cash donations were raised

Carma Erickson-Hurt, who manages community outreach for FOCCAS, also shared that the clinic sparked a noticeable increase in local engagement and adoptions. One orange-and-white cat named Logan is headed to his new home, and several new Bandon-based foster families have signed up to help.

“We've seen a real uptick in communications with people in Bandon,” Carma said. “I’m really excited about our connections here.”

You Can Still Help

The clinic may be over, but the need continues. Beach Loop Realty is still accepting donations on behalf of FOCCAS and Gizmo’s Angels.
